ocular-fetish: 2009 webby awards
The Webby awards celebrates the best of the internet. Essentially, the Oscars of the web. The academy is an "intellectually diverse organization" that rewards excellence on the internet in a variety of categories including news, music, and comedy. It looks at a variety of aspects including usability, design, and innovation. The current 2009 winners have just been announced, and parts of the award show are available through Youtube.
